How will the Inland Empire Economic Recovery Corporation (IEERC) help homeowners stay in their homes?

The IEERC hosts a series of Home Foreclosure Prevention Seminars throughout the Inland Empire in an effort to reach out to home owners in the north, south, east, and west corners.

What are the IEERC Home Foreclosure Prevention Seminars?

The IEERC has partnered with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide free Home Foreclosure Prevention Seminars (HFPS) with HUD-approved lenders and nonprofit counseling agencies in an effort to help homeowners stay in their homes.

  • Seminars are held once a month
  • Homeowners have the opportunity to meet one on one with nonprofit housing counseling agencies
  • Home owners have the opportunity to meet one on one with their lenders and possibly save their home through on site loan modifications
  • Information is provided on the foreclosure process, short sales, HUD programs and assistance, fraud prevention, and services available through other government agencies and non-profit agencies.
